Thanks, its a real smooth bike like it sits stock but if you want some punch throw in a 113 or 127 you wont regret it......when you roll on the throttle and the front end gets light it makes you smile real big for some reason.. When my buddies roll up on there new glides, then take mine for a spin they get pissed and blow 7-10 grand on motor work......I have 8500 total in mine they spend that on trying to catch up....

I paid 5K for my 86 and it had 75K on the clock (it was from a dealer though). I have had to do some TLC (starter solenoid easy) and a clutch hub bearing (not so easy) but while I was in there I upgraded the clutches to Kevlar. I was told by more than one person an S&S and clutch upgrade on these old bike will make them like new, I dont know about yours but it has made a world of difference on mine. she is runing a little rich and blows a little blue when she gets hot. Top end job eventually (no biggie).

Iam telling you guys iam fixn to put it to her, I love her my first was a 88 flht with I think around 65 or 70k but I can't really remember but I gave 6500 back in 08. Really didn't do nothing to her but I loved it.. Wife not so much.. But now it's on, just got her a sportster and she loves it so now it's time to put some $ in mine.. So far it looks like new exhaust,12" apes,4"shield,and a good seat

I have a enclosed belt drive with BDL lock up clutch if anyone wants to be dripp free, for the price of a new clutch I have the whole kit 1990-2006 $300........
