When I bought mine in '93, it was new, and that was what Harley built. After 20 years and 186,000 miles, I have yet to see or ride a twin-cam that would make me sell the old bike for it. Over the years, new bikes have become more complicated, harder and more expensive to work on, but no more durable or reliable from what I can see. Mine is easy to work on, parts are everywhere, and it's paid for. It sounds better, looks better (to my eye), and the ride satisfies.

Then too, I'm a stubborn old man, and it's come down to a test of will. Which one of us is going to give out first?
