Default New cam/rods/lifters and bearing and ticking!

So I just put a V-thunder 3020 cam (reused stock gear), new torrington bearing, Johnson hylift lifters and v thunder adjustable pushrods. Got it all back together runs great, but now I have what sounds like a lifter tick, especially noticeable when warmed up. Adjusted pushrods 3 time to what they call for (zero lash, plus 3 turns), and it still ticks.

Should I try adding and 1/8 - 1/4 turn on pushrods?

Thanks!

I am sure they are pumping up, have taken it for a couple 20 mile rides, and when I Re adjusted pushrods the 2nd and 3rd time they were.

Hmm.. I don't know then... not experienced enough. Sure the valve springs aren't hitting the rocker box?

Default valve guides

have you cut valve guides on spring side to make clearance? I HAD To when I installed my ev27 even though it is said to be bolt in.

I have not cut valve guides. I have installed a couple different cams in evo's, and I havent ran into that yet.

It only is noticeable when bike is fully warmed up. And I did check exhaust gasket to rule that out, and it does not seem to be coming from there. Sounds exactly like a lifter tick. not terrible, just there..

Vthunders are usually tame, ran my Woods cams at 4 turns and common for them to be set like that.

Are the adjusters on the pushrods hitting the inner pushrod tubes?

I had green code which I later found out have the guide height issue.
