Wiring LED turning signals

I have a 1992 Harley Softail fxsts and was able to wire up a pair of Kuryakn torpedo LED turn signals for the rear of the bike. Worked perfectly. However, now I'm stuck with the fronts. The original turn signals have 3 wires (purple, black, blue) and the Kuryakn torpedos have 2 wires (white and red). I've wired any combination that I can think of, but the I got them working was when all 4 turn signals, headlight and tailight flashed simultaneously? Any help or advice is most appreciated. Thanks.

you need LED's designed for run/turn, or a diode type adapter for the fronts. You can't use two wire on/off led's in a three wire harness w/o an adapter.

Something like this:
