hi 1997 road king after changing cables can not get it to idle cables are adjusted right
did i miss something did something come apart original carb only 13,000 miles on it
there is gas in tank

Use the adjustment stop screw on the right rear of the carburetor to adjust your idle. It pivots when you apply throttle, then rests on the stop when you remove throttle from the grip. It takes a long handled Phillips head screwdriver.
Cable with the spring goes to the inner guide at the carb (closest to engine), and the one without the spring is at the outboard guide. Maybe those are mixed up?
