I've own hondas my whole life since I was a little kid. My Last 2 was an 82 GL 1100 and an 83 GL 1100. One day I was day dreaming and I brought up the HD websight and I found a 95 Road King with 22,000 miles for $6995. They gave me $1200 for my 82 wing and dropped the price to $6895 and I got my first harley. Some friends of mine said everyone that is into motorcycles as much as I am should own at least one Harley in their lifetime. I think I chose a good one.

Welcome to the Evo Forum! You did choose a good one as your first! Lots of smart guys on this forum who can give you a lot of good info. Do yourself a favor though, and do a Forum search on what you have questions about first... tons of good info here in prior threads.
BTW, I also started out on a little 1972 Honda CB350 WAAAY back in HS... it was a great little bike for a 16-year-old to start out on!
As Graham (grbrown) likes to say... hang out here often... we love to help other people spend their money!
Sorry for stealing your thunder, Graham... but I got to this one first!

That sounds like a great buy..
Be careful, EVO fever can get bad, after a while you will not only think you chose a good one you may become very close to it, start thinking it is better than a new one. It starts out with maybe something little, maybe if I just adjust this a little will make it better , or maybe if I just do this and before you know it you will be so deep into your bike you will be able to "feel" when it is happy. Of course, many of us on these forums will think you are OK, but many of the other people that talk with you will find it a little strange.
I own my 96 Wideglide and have a twinkie bagger as well. I would LOVE another evo (bagger this time)and keep kicking myself over passing up a SWEET Road King! Sounds like you have a great bike there-enjoy and WELCOME to the forums!
I took a trip with a friend of mine on Saterday from Milwaukee WI to La Crosse WI and back. He has an 02 Ultra with the cam gear drive. I told him I really didn't want to mess with a cam shoe on a newer one. He told me I could have done what he did with the cam gears. I said I really didn't have the money to buy a bike and stuff $800 into it right away so EVO was really the way to go for me. He said, "Your right, You got a nice bike. It almost makes me want to go Roak King." I've had it for 3 weeks now I've put 2,000 miles on.(soon to give it it's first oil change after I get paid this week) and Friday I'm Leaving for Hayward WI with my dad. He's got a nice 2001 GL1800. My RK really seams to enjoy the Highway and I love it.
