G'Day All.

Just picked myself up a 1994 FLHTCU last week, hell of alot differant to my last bike's.
Had an 79 Ironhead Sporty for 10 yrs that i traded in for a 96 XLHS in 96, traded that for a 2010 FXDC...that I sold (personal reasons) last week and bought the 94 FLH.

She is in pretty good condition, I did have to rebuild the starter, flush the tank and give the CV a complete rebuild as it had been sitting for 2 yrs...but now she purrs along nicely.

Dave.

ooppss!!! better change my avatar pic.

Dave, Welcome to the Electra Glide (bagger) world.
You will love it.
What I love about it is so many ways your bike can look.
Full touring.
Standard Glide look (no pak).
Street Glide look, etc.. etc....
I like all of them and have been all before.
I have 2 looks now, winter w/hi-shield and wind deflectors.
My summer look is no defl and low shield.

Thanks for the welcome people.....We put a new shorter (by 2 inch) shield on her as I am only 5ft 8in when we did the starter/carby rebuild, bought her off a good mate so i know she's in good condition....has new wheel bearings, neck bearings, disc pads and new rubber front and rear..all done before it was put in the shed as me mate could'nt ride for a while due to a work accident.

Only has 75000kays on the clock, around 48000mile's, motor is stock in every way...except S/E pipe's and aircleaner, we rebuilt the carb with 45slow and 180 main.

I am looking at Camm/torrington bearing and S/E quik install pushrods in the near future....give it a few months...winter is starting to hit us over here in the mountains so I wont feel to bad if i take her off the road for a week in mid July.

Dave.

Well, IMO your cam change can be completed in less than 4 hours, much less than a week! Probably even quicker if you've been there b4! Have fun!

Yeah I know it wont take a week for a cam change, I was expecting half a day as I have helped mate's do there's....I should of mentioned that I will also give her a complete going over, polish her up and replace/repair any little things that need doing.
Like new spring/ball in each rear f/board as they keep falling to the open position whenever I give her a bit of throttle....stuff like that.

All good.
Dave
