so i got my PC Racing drop in filter, today.... had been running a wix 51215.... went up to laconia this past weekend to hot-dog around and put about 500 miles on her after a fresh oil change before we left
got home this past sunday and changed the oil.... was like tar.... bike ran fine all the while and oil pressure was steady at 7-10 at idle
but after the oil change when i got back, figured i'd look into either a K&P or PC Racing oil filter, as i'd heard pretty good things about them here and there
put it in today.... let her warm up completely...took her around town ...got on it here and there....put her through her paces
results: bike maintained spot on oil pressure at 20, and it ran MUCH cooler.... i don't have a temp gauge, but i got to tell you it had to have been about 15-20 degrees cooler
....also, it was quieter... it held the signature evo 'tick', but it was noticeably quieter
