Why can't cagers

just obey the rules of the road to include motorcycles? I don't need to go out of turn at a 4 way stop. Just ticks me off sometimes, and sometimes puts me on collision course others. Whine whine whine.

possibly because too many times they have found motorcyclists "pushing" through, making excessive noise, rude gesturing when a driver makes an honest mistake or just simple ignorance. Don't fret about it.

I live in a small town and we have several 4 way stops. Sadly, most think it 4 cars going at 4 different times, rather than 2 then 2 then 2. And some have started giving a turn signal, right before the move. I don't know how many times I've had to stop because I thought they were going straight.

Hell they can't even figure out that slower traffic should move to the right and you want them to figure out stop signs???

NFW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yea, I guess you're right. I don't "roll through" very often anymore. Got caught once and damn near broke my leg. I'm not in too big of a hurry that I can't stop.

When an "honest mistake" or "simple ignorance" could potentially "take my life" you better believe you are going to get a "rude gesture".

When you are not committed to driving responsibly, defensively, and are not aware of the basic rules of the road it's not a mistake or ignorance, it's negligence.

You should not be behind the wheel if you don't know how to drive, and aren't prepared to do so.

My life may depend on it.

Expect 'em to use turn signals??? Ha ha. I had a LIMO driver pass me on the left today, move over in front of me,then moved over again and took an exit-no turn signals!

My daughter just got her temps. I was looking through her driving book , It is all about rules and fines nothing about driving. They sucked all common sense out and put in the point system. Both of my daughters will get a motorcycle license, I hope , just to be able to actually be a smarter car driver. They don't like learning a stick shift in a car well too bad dad aint getting a cvc bike either.

You chaps obviously lead sheltered lives! We live near Milton Keynes, Hell on Earth, built expressly to serve the car, with a grid road layout and roundabouts at every junction. You want indicators when there are three ways out the other side? Forget it! Courtesy? Every man for himself..... :icon_evil:

Every single car and truck on the road is out to KILL me. That's how I ride, and that's what I believe.
