Harley CV Part Number Difference?

The carb part # on my 2004 Superglide is 27421-99C and I've picked up a second carb to have some performance work done on so I can retain the mildly modified original carb. The carb I lucked into is 27421-99B, which I understand is an earlier model of the same carb. What I was wondering if there were any major changes made that I should be aware of before possibly wasting any effort on the "B" model carb.

Any help would be appreciated.

It is only going to be a very minor difference and you probably won't even be able to find the difference. It is basically the same carburetor.

Thanks Evo, that's pretty much what I have figured out/been told. The change from a B to a C was minor, much more and the part # year would likely have changed completely.
