Default Samson Baffle Issues

Recently purchased a 2005 Fatboy with Samson Rip Saws.

I didn't see any screw hole indicating a baffle. A quick look with a flashlight showed like a ring with a diagonal piece of tubular metal. (Like a no smoking .
sign)

Called Samson and they told me that the rip saws had permanent, non removable baffles. Was wanting to try the BCT baffles but am totally confused now

Never heard of non removable baffles. Any ideas??

if I am thinking correct, the ripsaws have a turn down tip, correct? it would be very hard to remove straight baffles out a curve tip like that. IMO
