Hello. I've bought the SE intake manifold p/n 29638-99 and the seller told me that it was on his TC88 engine, but that manifold don't have a place for MAP-sensor. My bike is a 2004 night train with carb and a map-sensor. The question is, can I disconnect the map-sensor? Also I have SE ignition with coil and SE air filter.

 

Nope. or at least you shouldn't. Will kill mileage and possibly toss a code.. All TCs have map so it's likely you have an EVO manifold. If it has a boss for the map sensor, you can add it. If the 29638-99 is marked in the casting, It's a casting number and not the actual part number.

 

Thanks for information! I think to make a boss for the map sensor on it. Here is the photo of the manifold.

 

A quick google search of that P/N shows up as an intake for a carbed bike. That's all I know on the subject.
