If you haven't heard of this small town USA company, look into HASH ENTERPRISES for their Hash Pipes. I first saw their display at a Chicagoland show a few years ago. I have had the mufflers for a year, and this past weekend I upgraded my head pipes. They ceramic coat the inside and outside of their head pipes, the heat reduction from stock is amazing! The sound has a great bark to it, and isn't overly loud or booming at highway speeds. If you are a self installer their tested Power Commander tune is available for download.
