2017 Street Glide w/ V&H Power Duals and Hi output problems
I recently installed SE air cleaner, V&H hi output mufflers and power duals. I used an FP3 tuner to map the ecm, since I had used 1 before. On the first ride I noticed low end power loss. I contacted VH and they say when you 1st flash the ecm, you must run 2 tanks of fuel through the bike so HD's fuel table can relearn, because it resets it every time the ecm is flashed. I was also told to set the throttle to "moderate". Seems a little better, but still not like it was with stock pipes and headers. I've only been able to go through 1 tank so far, but am very curious if V&H is blowing smoke, or will the bikes power return after tank 2? Also, they said do not use Auto Tune til after the 2nd tank, if I felt I needed to. Sounds a little off to me. Anyone else experienced this, and did it correct itself? If not, how did you correct it? Thanks

Not sure if this will help, but...
I have a '17 Slim. I bought a FP3 for it even before I decided to do a full Stage 1. All I wanted to do was use the map V&H has for a bone stock Softail, which is supposed to make the bike run a bit cooler, which it did.
I ended up putting Cobra 3" Slash Cut Slip-Ons on the bike, and didn't need to remap it or anything because it ran great.
When I installed the Harley Stage 1 Air Cleaner kit, I used the V&H map for generic slip-ons and a high flow A/C... and the bike ran like garbage. I didn't even wait to go through 2 tanks of gas. I flashed the map for V&H Slash Cut slip ons, and the bike ran fantastic. I haven't touch the mapping since.
