1. Simply increasing the VE values has nothing to do with increasing performance.
2. Increasing the noise level has nothing to do with increasing performance.
3. The D&D Fatcat is an outstanding exhaust system. By removing the baffle you're screwing it up.
4. The D&D Fatcat will give you one of the biggest increases in low to midrange torque and horsepower of any exhaust system on the market. Which is what you want.
5. Put the baffle back in and properly tune the bike.
