Is there a part number stamped on V&H slip ons?
 

Looking at a used set and the seller doesn't know what the part number is. Got a yes and a no from V&H. Does anyone know if V&H slip-ons (twin slash in particular) have a part number stamped anywhere on them?

Nope !!! At least not on any of the ones that I've seen.

So how do you know if they'll fit?

Most touring mufflers fit 1995-2016.

Pics of the mufflers and your bike info would really help...

dfwhockey- I dont own the muffs yet (v&h twin slashes-hoping to buy them). Bike is 2012 street glide.

With the info provided I feel confident in saying they SHOULD fit! ;)

Thanks everyone. They WERE twin slash. Told the guy I want them. He said he had guests in town so would call me when they left two days ago. Jag seller on CL said he would call yesterday never did then tells me he sold them today.
