What Reinhart or Cobra slip ons for XL1200T
Just got a XL1200T. 2017 model and to me the exhaust sounds wimpy. looking for morethroaty and rumble soundif possible. What Reinhart or Cobra or other brand slipons would you reccomend. Are slipons very involved to install? Motor is as is from factory. Any info appreciated.

Livened up the bike In the midrange to top end, but just a little fluffy from take off but the auto tune feature of the tuner will take care of that.
But I'm going to step down to the 1 1/2" baffles just to lift toque a bit from take off and the wife don't like the volume of the pipes.
Did the mods just for a better breathing engine.

I had V&H Straightshot Slip-Ons on my '15 XL1200X. Great pipes: loud as Hell, and they looked great/really made the bike look less bottom-heavy. They were pretty easy to install. It's kind of awkward getting the heat shields on, but otherwise, it's maybe 1-2 hours, depending how long it takes to get the old mufflers off. Also, I had a full Stage 1 kit on there, with the SEPST, and had it dyno'd. It ran like a dream.
I have Cobra 3" Slash Cut Slip-Ons on my current bike, a '17 Softail Slim. These are the ones with the rotating caps, so you can make them slash cut, boloney cut, or somewhere in between. They are not as loud as my old V&H's, but they do have a nice rumble to them. They look really great, appear to be made well, and did give the bike some boost. I also have a full Stage 1 kit on this bike, but with a FP3 this time around, and no dyno.
