Default Stuck bolt

I got a new set of pipes, and was trying to install them this weekend, but was unable to remove the front bolt that holds the back end of the header to the frame. I tried getting a long prybar/breaker bar to use with the socket, but ended up rounding the nut off, and now I'm afraid my only option left is to heat the nut and try to cool the bolt to get it loose. Does anyone have any other options to get this loose, so I can change out to the new pipes? All the other bolts came loose fairly easily, but this one just did NOT want to budge!

Now that you tried breaker bar and apparently the wrong size socket and ended up rounding the head of the nut. You might as well just cut it off with a dremel tool.

Bingo.

All the thread agent in the world wont fix a rounded nut. You won't be able to get it off even if you break the rust loose.. Get a dremel or a grinder with a cutoff wheel and cut the nut off. Cut the side that isn't visible as surely you will cut into the paint.

If you try the heat route, just apply the heat to the nut side, it wont take but a few seconds for the bolt to expand as well. Might work with the worlds best set of vise grips but I doubt it. Nut and bolt are junk anyway.
Cut it off

if you can weld or have a friend that can tack a nut to the stripped head.

Actually, the head is fine. It's on top, and the nut is on the bottom, but it's between the pipes and the frame, so a little tough to get the vice grips on it straight and well. I'm probably going to try heat on the nut, and an ice cube on the head of the bolt to see if it will loosen it up. If that doesn't work, then I might just have to cut if off.

Thanks everyone for the advice!

If you have room, try pounding on a 6 point socket of the right size
