Default Making a 2in1 out of stock head pipe

has anyone made a 2in1 out of the stock head pipe on a 14'-16 touring an just use 1 slip on by welding it up where the crossover starts to get more low end after decatting ? The baffles in my slip ons are to big and not enough back pressure is killing the low end just a thought till i get the funds for a good 2in1 ? Thanks for all replies !

Why not use a 2-1 from the stock 2010 roadglide / streetglide, I believe it should work. I am using one on a 2011 streetglide with a night stick gutted cat.

I remember seeing a thread a few months ago about someone wanting to do the same thing.

Look around ....there are out there as most people don't want them. They are perfect for a minor torque build in a bagger for me ....but if porting the heads my guess is you will want a better system.
