Default Baffle removal

I have 2000 Electra Glide Classic EFI with Stock mufflers. I have just picked up a set of stock slip on mufflers from a 2011 RD King cheap and was thinking taking the baffles out and trying them on my 2000. I was told I can add slip on for my type EFI easily as long as I don't touch the intake, as anyone run muffler like this and taken out baffles? pros and cons?

Let's see.... Taking out the baffles means a wide open pipe. Cons- Loud, power loss, hard to tune..... Pro's- loud.....

So your goal is to make the exhaust as loud as possible? Consider installing a set of Thunder Torque inserts from DK Customs. They won't quiet it down a whole lot but will give you some back pressure and prevent reversion, along with a deeper tone. Can't go wrong for $30

I did a baffle remove on my stock 11 RG same thing got another cheap stock mufflers cut the weld out. I then cut the ends off the baffle and tack welded them back in. Did it just hot enough for good hold with out turning chrome. It is some louder a lot deeper tone. Local LEO don't bother me and neighbor's don't hate me. "At least for that" Also bike runs great. I found another set of pipes cheap I'm going to de-cat and try. If I don't like it I still have the stock ones. BTW this is the quietest bike I have had. I like loud fighting it tho.
