Changed Propipe to Fatcat
I have a 2003 Fatboy with an 88CI with Andrews 37 cams, and a SE Heavy Breather. I just changed my Propipe to a D&D Fatcat. The difference is much more than expected. My bike is carb'd and I have not put it on the dyno yet but the "butt dyno" says I gained ALOT!!!! :)

Good choice. Pro-pipes are junk and waaaaay over-rated!

I did the same swap on my 09 sg and had the same results.

I went from V&H big radius 2-2 to a Lowcat. The difference in sound and performance were unbelievable, well worth the money.

I went from a pro pipe to the fat cat. Performance wise the fat cat is a lot better but I prefer the sound of the pro pipe,
I wonder what would happen,as far as performance wise , if I put a pro pipe muffler on the fatcat head pipe? |

Just put one on and it is awesome. The sound and extra power is great.

Sounds good. My ideal exhaust is quite when I need it to be (cruising, leaving at 5am, ect) and loud as hell when I want it to be.
Just heard one a while back and thought it was the exhaust that was too loud and I sorta realized the fact that it was 2 feet from a wall probably helped nothing, ha. Sorry, didn't mean to hi-jack the thread, lol. |
