Im gonna be picking up a set myself. Judging by the feedback and reviews. Its pretty convincing and hard to question weather they work or not. For the price, can you really go wrong? Sounds like you'd be an ideal candidate for them lacking in the low/mid torque.

you will not find a totally happy medium. they do work but only in a band and is adjusted by the angle of the dangle so what works for low/mid might not work for high and vise-versa. they are better than actual torque cones as they are a very narrow band improvement and if you ride outside the band, not much help.

these are nothing new been around since the 60s, originally developed by allen ladder and sold as snuff-r-nots. i ran a set on my 306 honda to keep the fuzz off while in town.

Great tidbit of history there ^. Those were actually pretty cool with them being adjustable.

If you mean the TTI's, yes they do work. Also sound great, which is subjective I know. Best $30 I ever spent on exhaust mods.

They have worked great for me. I had to remove the baffles from my SE 65115-98B slip-ons after I installed the Fullsac true-duals mod. The TTIs brought the exhaust tone back down to a low bass, toned the volume down, and restored -some- of the low-end torque. The exhaust note is not too loud at cruising speed, and doesn't bother the neighbors too much unless I get on the throttle.

So you use the TTI with baffles or gutted factory mufflers?
I assumed you pull the factory baffles and use the little wavy discs? But I see people changing baffles and then adding the wavy disc?

It is recommended that you remove the baffles, whether it's the factory cans or aftermarket.
