I chose Thunder Header, a day or so before the comparison chart came out.... The chart made me ok with my decision... will know better in the spring.. Easter

You you won't be disappointed they do bring the power out nicely but not so much in the low end..

That’s what I chose on both of my sportsters, I decided on sound 1st and then performance. I like the performance of their test standard, but did not like the sound tone or volume level. So of course I think you chose well

There's a trick you can do to the Thunderheader to bring out the low end. You basically bend the ends of the four perforated panels back a bit to increase backpressure just a bit. That prevents enough reversion to make the bike feel more responsive in the low end.

I’ve never seen it to be advantageous to bend all of the tabs. It always kills top end power doing so. Bending 2 picks up bottom end and sometimes slightly on the top also.
