When they were just slip one the NH were just eh. Picked them up off Facebook for 2 bills to replace a set of wild pigs the previous owner backed into a curb. Kept them on when I put my true duals on and they went from eh to super loud. Wish I could keep them on but my stretched bags won’t fit over the belled ends on them. Thinking about going to the TAB bam sticks next I’ve heard they are loud as well.

I had the Cobra 909 twins along with a cobra pro chamber exhaust pipe and Arlen Ness Big sucker on my 2017 SGS 107 M8 . . . . LOVED the sound! Don't know how the 909's compare to the haters but found them plenty loud and growling when I got on it. Quiet enough at idle to not wake the neighbors when i left for work at 0400 in the am.

sound LEVEL is about the same, the NH is a sharper bass so carries harder and SOUNDS louder. 909s are a bit deeper of a sound and base carries a little less. I myself like the more deeper base sound out of these two. its more like comparing parts of a drum really tho, do you like high tom, low tom, snare, or bass drum, sharpness of sound changes is all.
Id do the 909s, but thats just me, I like my sound kind of a "mid" base sound. hits firmly but isnt harsh, and I will lean towards deeper before I will sharper, you might like your bass sharper than I like mine.
if you know drums I'll put it this way
909s=floor tom
NH= somewhere between snare and hi tom
