Default Rush 7017 header

Hello everyone,

Just installed a Rush 7017HO header the other day. I did a little research but found limited info compared to other brands, so I figured I'd give my 2¢. I went from a decatted stock header, and have no experience installing other brands on touring models. Reason I went with the Rush was full size cross under pipe, ceramic coated, balance tube or "power chamber" as apposed to true duals, and lastly price compared to other brands with the same features. Price was $485 shipped.

Fit on the Rush was so-so, had to flex the rear head pipe to get the flange to line up, cross under pipe was a good fit, heat shields fit great also. Ceramic coat finish out of the box was awesome, don't expect it to be perfect after install haha! The coating will also get peeled back when sliding the mufflers on, they are a ****!

Sound is great, idle and cruise are similar to stock with a slightly deeper tone. Cracking into the throttle while pulling out of a corner or up a hill sounds a lot better. More of a true duals sound IMO. Power feels about the same, still running the map FM sent me with the power vision, I just reflashed the ecm to reset the fuel adaptive settings.

Overall I would definitely buy another one.

Same thing for me also I had to tweak mine to but they do sound good and the power curve doesn’t really fall off

First I’d like to say the pipe looks great. So do both pipes connect somewhere?Ive never seen a picture of where they connect or what the power chamber looks like. I’m just curious. And was there any power lose?
