Default V&H twin slash for 2017 custom

Ok just looking for a little hands on experience here from the group. I’m looking into getting a set of V&H 3” twin slash slip ons for my 1200 custom with the quiet baffle, And was wondering as to the effectiveness of the quiet incert VS the stock baffle that they ship with, and does the ultra quiet baffle option fit these pipes?.

Also what is the size of the baffle tube that the twin slash pipes come shipped with to get some comparisons to what I have now.

The wife simply don’t like the 3” rush pipes with the 1.5” baffle, so they gotta go, and the problem is rush don’t make a quiet baffle option , so I’ll be getting rid of these things shortly.

I like the baffle options that V&H has , And that was why I was drawn to the rush, but an unhappy wife is. Well you know 😠

Thanks in advance for any input

The quiet baffles will make little difference in loudness since they only bring down the volume 2-3 db. They will make it deeper and less tinny. I wasn't that happy with the quiet baffles and eventually ended up with the TTI's from DK Customs. Still loud but a much nicer sound.
Never heard of the ultra quiet ones, you should probably ask V&H about those.

These are the baffles I was talking about.

Your slipons will still be loud. No cat like in the stock mufflers. Have her wear ear plugs. They really work well.
