My FB does have the elim 300s and yes, I do like the volume. I DO NOT like a loud bike when I'm cruising. I'm too old for that. So the elims have a real nice bark and sound when on throttle (the sound is better than my current RG rineharts) but when cruising it is not annoying.

If you have more questions, no problem.
I read in another thread you’re using the quiet baffles in the Eliminators, right?

I am not.
I've use the quiet baffle in the past on a V&H full exhaust I had on a touring bike. Was effective.

I have the Eliminators. I do not think that they are loud pipes at all.

I used the quiet baffles on a set of Straightshots, a tad quieter, deeper tone, and a little more back pressure to keep the tune happy. I recommend them over any baffle that comes standard with a set of VH pipes.

I did like the sound from the V&H but had to remove them when I switched headpipes to a different style.

I replaced them with some Cobra pipes that use a permanent/factory installed baffle wrap. I'd say the sound has remained pretty similar, although the Cobras may be just a tad louder.

As for the Eliminators you pictured, I don't have any first-hand experience with it, but I'd think that baffle wont do much for sound reduction unless it's wrapped in some manner of muffler packing like the twin slash one is. Perhaps they intend for it to be wrapped, but you'd have to make sure the pipe leaves room.
I have the Elliminator 300 on my 19 Heritage and for a small baffle they do their jobs...even too much reduction.

Having heard them both and performing the FP3 tuning for the server on these systems while I still ran the Testing department, I prefer the tone of the Eliminator 300 w/quiet insert over the Twin Slash Quiet baffle. Has a rounder tone by comparison, and would be a nice mellow cruising muffler.

I put that second one in a set of Python long shots. It was still loud. They did not have a cross over. The factory system with the crossover that uses both mufflers for each cylinder and has two long baffle tubes in each muffler was so far superior, surprises me that people buy this.

Hi, I have the eliminator 300 on a 2019 Heritage and after a few hundred miles getting very loud. I'm trying to find the correct baffle and was told by UTuber that its part 21947. Looking this up instructions state not for heritage. Do you remember the part number you ordered? Thanks
