Default Stock Versus Baffless pipes

Hello wise EGU LTDS owners. I wondered if taking baffles out of exhaust will reduce performance?

It doesn't matter which bike you own, the answer will always be yes. If you want more sound and better performance consider a pair of TTI's from DK Customs. They will replace the baffles and are your best bang for the buck in that area.

Thank you, I actually want a quieter bike, I was thinking of buying stock pipes from the dealer, I am thinking that the pipes are tuned to the bike and provide better performance.

Plenty of stock pipes for sale for much less than what you would pay at a dealer.

You don't take baffles out for that!

OP; you can probably get a set cheap by posting ad in "Want to Buy" section of forum, but also check w/dealer b/c ours has a spring/fall garage sale and they actually sell parts fairly cheap. Last time I went there were tons of stock pipes/headers b/c that's one of the 1st things new bike owners swap. Dealers have to clean-out their junk, like we do (occasionally).
