Can you mate non-CARB compliant mufflers to a CARB complaint header?

I don't live in a state that requires CARB compliancy.

I am pretty sure the OP lives in Florida, not California. That being said, OP, yes you can mate aftermarket mufflers to a catted headpipe. Getting rid of the cat will cut way down on heat though, especially when you get the bike tuned properly afterwards...

Motorcycle do not have to go through emissions checks at this time in CA
