Alright guys, I bought a set of mufflers from these guys in PA, with all the mixed reviews of their customer service.
The mufflers showed up today and they're wrong . On the outside of the box was their return policy . (Odd) Not only were these the wrong design but the wrong size according to the EBay add I bought them off of. The part number on the reciept wasn't even the same part number from their E Bay add.
I initiated a return through the seller, let's see how they handle this issue they caused. Their returnpolicy says they don't refund shipping and possibly a 20% restocking fee .
I'll keep everyone posted.

 

Today I got an email apologizing and to return these for another set of mufflers. The correct set.
Id have to close my case with E Bay to do so.
Not sure witch way to go.

Close the case, then reopen a new one if they are still wrong. Explain to ebay what is going on before you close the case.

 

I purchased a set of Mufflers from American classic motorcycles on eBay also. When the pipes came the end that goes over the head pipe was about a eighth of an inch larger than the head pipe. You could slap the muffler up and down on the head pipe it wouldn't clamp down. I called them and told them what the problem was and took a video of how loose the muffler was on the head pipe. After about 10 days I called them back and they were having their Engineers look at it to determine the problem. I told him it didn't take an engineer to see what the problem was and I would take care of it myself and not purchase again. I know I should have gone to Ted's Cycle shed

 

Even the box has the wrong description on the outside.
Well since I bought them thru E Bay Im sending them back for a refund.
Told them Ill pick some up somewhere else.

 

They just made my rolodex of who not to buy from, ever.

Is that American Classic Motors or Motorcycles?

 

I sent them back and Im supposed to get my money back under the E Bay buyer protection plan..... well see.😒

 

Well yesterday I recieved my refund. Ebay paid the shipping.
