Should I add an a crossover pipe?
So I had drag pipes and I have quite a bit of engine work upgrades done to the bike I cut off the pipes and added the Rinehart slip-ons my question is should I add a crossover pipe if so where should I locate it I have Wiseco pistons 10 to 1 compression and 10 / stage 2 thunderstorm heads Andrews N8 cam Primo dynatek 2000i module twin Tec single fire coil Riviera Primo clutch

will it help, probably.
if it were a car/truck, i could give some advise but on a mc, do not know if it would apply.
on the above, we would apply paint to the exh pipes and run the vehicle down the road and this would burn the paint in a certain area and this is where we would place the balance pipe.

BSA introduced the cross-over pipe way back and every twin still uses something similar, to boost low/mid range torque, to this day. So they are a worthwhile feature, however I also agree with bustert - simply use a 'proper' 2-into-1 for best results. My choice is a SuperTrapp - they make them for big twins and Sporties.
