Default What Exhaust is this??

Hello. Just bought this bike. I'm sure this is not the stock exhaust that the bike was built with. Are you able to tell which V&H exhaust I have? Also, can I take the baffles out? If so how? Thanks..

taking the baffles out will not do you any good, and may make you have issues.

Vance and Hines Twin Wall Slip-ons are what you have, and taking the baffles out will kill your low end power, not a smart move IMO...

Revisting this. Looking to get a little bit louder/deeper sound from my exhaust. Any way to accomplish this without breaking the bank? Thanks.

But don't I have to take the baffles out for them? Other here suggested not taking the baffles out.

Just wondering if V&H made quiet baffles for those and that's what you have. I personally never heard anyone saying Twin Slash slip on mufflers were too quiet. Might want to research that. Can you get some pictures looking into the exit end of one of the mufflers?

Yeah....they make quiet and competition baffles for your mufflers. Might want to check into those.

Pull the baffles completely out, install the thunder torques open 90%. Sound great, run fine.
If it's too loud, close the tti a lil bit until ya like it.
