Default Home Brewed Baffle too Restrictive?

Currently have Short Shots on my '08 Nightster, PO put them on. I was looking to quiet them a bit and read countless reviews of different baffles/exhaust setups, as y'all know are out there. I decided to try something I haven't been able to find information on, more to see just what would happen. I bought some universal baffles (shown below) and wrapped them in fiberglass wrap before fitting them into the stock V&H baffle. They went in great and pretty much did exactly what I wanted, and the whole thing cost about $14. The question I have is, now that they are in, should I be worried about too much back pressure and/or degraded ability for heat to escape? Btw the product image shows a plug on the left end, that's not in the bike. Thanks in advance

I had a 2009 RKC that I put fishtails on. They had no baffles and it was so obnoxious I couldn't take it anymore. I bought baffles like the one you pictured. Had to take the fishtails off to slide them in. It tamed it down quite a bit but I got a decent exhaust tone. I was happy. It didn't run any hotter than normal.

I played around with some home made baffles until I was happy with the sound. It was necessary to get the V&H Fuelpak to adjust the fuel/air mixture because it wasn't running that well. But in the end I'm happy with everything. It took some trial and error.

Thanks for the reassurance. I took it out today after the rain stopped and it seemed to run fine. At beginning of there was a slight pop when I would get off the throttle, but after ten minutes it didn't happen again. Noticeable change in power band for sure though, and I'm sure they neighbors will appreciate the lower decibels
