Exhaust
I've been considering buying louder and shorter exhaust pipes for my 2007 sportster low. I've been told that if I do I'll need to get the fuel injection retuned. Can anyone give me some advice? I've also been wondering why I couldn't cut my existing pipes to a shorter length. Are those muffler baffles on the ends of the factory pipes?

If all you do is change the pipes you don't have to retune, although it would help. Bear in mind that by putting on shorter pipes you will lose some low and mid range power. But it will seem faster because it's louder.
Exhausts are engineered to be specific lengths. Chopping them up just turns them into junk. And the baffles are near the end of the pipes. You can tell just by looking in there.
