How does samson exhaust sound?

I put Samson fishtails (slipons) no baffles on my '98 Heritage Springer in '99 and they still look as good as the day I put them on.
I Dyno-jetted my carb and put a S/E/ a/c on so that may contribute to them still looking so good.
Everyone loves the way they sound but I rarely crank it out unless I'm away from houses.
