Default Thought on How to Increase torque on 06 Cop Glide

Would like to increase torque on Stock Stage I 88 Cop Glide

Besides increasing displacement 93 CU, what are our options

Cams
Pipes
Tuneable Mufflers

Thankyou for the input

Is it really "stock" or a "stage 1"?
What have you done so far , and if so , what combination of parts have you installed?
The stage 1 ( air filter , exhaust mods , fuel tuner ) is the first thing to do.
When you have these items , the next thing would be to make sure your fuel delivery is correct.
Most people will be quite satisfied with a properly running stage 1 , and the results are generally very good.
You can expect cooler running , better throttle response , better fuel mileage (sometimes) , and a smoother running bike.
I'm quite happy with my combination (in my sig at the bottom).

For Torque there is no substitute for cubic inches. No if, ands, or butts.

The biggest bang for the torque buck is swapping out the primary gearing with 3.37:1 in place of the 3.15:1; list price for the sprockets from HD is 450 USD.The change does raise the rpmsabout 200 at 75 mph. IIRC, I thought I read you had those in the garage awaiting install. If you aren't going to do it, shoot me a PM.

Otherwise, HQ-0034 cams made a big difference in my '04 88 TPI and raised the tq to 90; comes on at about 2500 rpms. Of course, a cam swap requires changing the factory ECM settings via SERT, PCIII, etc.

As for the mantra about displacement, that's only true if all other variable are the same--there are a lot of 95" motors with HD Big Bore kits and 203 camsthat are slower from 2500 to 4500 rpmsthan an 88 with some bolt in aftermarket cams and a good tune.

A set of Andrews 26G cams and 3:37 gearing will give you the "pull" you want.
