Decent pieces at a good price. In all honesty, stock rockers are A-OK until you get into the .600+ lift cams.

I have 6k miles on my HQ 95 with the OE rockers and .575 cams, not much noiser than stock.

Doug told me rollers dont roll much after 1500 rpms!

I was chasing a Lifter noise for a while and it turned out to be the compensator, I put the 24t gear on and had a knock so I went with the shim and could not believe how quiet she got!
After I did my 95 she got loud on brake in. I am changing cams and figured I'd change the rockers. I still have a lifter noise that sounds like an old ford, kinda floats around a bit so I am going to re adjust my rods and see what happens. Maybe I have lateral play in the rockers and need to shim?
I have been told that my bike is not that noisy from a few people but that floaty noise drives me nuts.

Shimming the rockers is a good idea if the clearance is excessive.&nbsp\\; I agree with the others, save your money if the cam is not over 600 lift.&nbsp\\; Going from a RK to the Ultra I definitely found that I hear all of the valve train noise that was not heard without a fairing.&nbsp\\; This is particularly in the 2200 to 2400 range at steady speeds.&nbsp\\; At highway speed it quiets down and sound like a singer sewing machine, you can hear the valve train but it is smooth and you cannot identify one valve being noisier than the other.&nbsp\\; If the valve train is put together correctly, and the pushrods adjusted a couple of times after the build, quit chasing the noise and go riding, you will drive yourself crazy:)

Thanks for the advice! I am going to adjust the rods one last time and that is it. I figure now since the comp has been muted I need to at least try once more. I have made up my mind to ride this build until she needs a rebuild and then it is an HQ candy store run! Saw the pics on the HQ site looks like you all had a blast! Phil has been very, very helpful with all the troubles I have had. I have learned tons with this forum and this bike. Now I just need more money!
I will say that after changing the compensator and installing an energyone clutch I am more that pleased with the build now. I am sure that I was loosing huge amounts of power through the primary and clutch. I can not believe how snappy the bike has become and over all a pleasure to ride. I think I'd be afraid of some of those monsters you guys have put together!!
