I traded in my '06 Herritage which had V &amp\\; H big shots ( too loud for the wife ).
Now I have an '08 Ultra Classic but I need to change from the stock pipes.
I did love the sound of the V &amp\\; H, so I am thinking about getting the true duals.
I have read that there might be a little loss in top end proformance.
any input would be appreciated.
P.S. will prob make the change at Sturgis in 2 weeks

I just installed a Supertrapp Supermeg 2-1 and am ticled with the sound and performance. Tru duels look nice and sound good, but don't compare to the performance of a good 2-1 with the exception of a Rinehart system and a bit of tuning.

 

Go with the 2 into 1 fatcat w/quiet baffle and ghost pipe! I LOVE MINE on my 08 SG. Has a good low quiet rumble when idling and cruising but man does it ROAR when cracking the throttle!

 

I went with Rhineharts, very happy camper get louder with miles will sneak up on your wife and you will be happy

 

O&gt\\;K&gt\\; thanks guys, I was leaning towards the V&amp\\;H ppes again, but the more I read, the more it seems ppl are likeing the RHineharts.6 days till we leave for Sturgis, I'll make the switch there.
