Default Oil Pump Failures
Hypthetical question. If the pinion bushing is kept within spec, even with a crappy crank runout will it keep he oil pump from grenading? It would seem to me that clearance in this bushing would have to go before the pump is at risk?

That bushing is relatively soft.
