Default V&H Heat shields sold separate ?
Does anyone know if V&H will sell the heat shields separately ?

yes they will. don't ask me why I know that. you can call or email V&H to get quote on the particular shield you need.

I'll give you a example, big radius heat shields $95-$100 each!

Spoke to V&H today, Here are the prices they gave me for the heat shields

D455HC-R FRONT HEAT SHIELD 106.98
D456HC-R REAR HEAT SHIELD 78.79
D308HC-R FRONT MUFFLER HEAT SHIELD 103.93
D309HC-R REAR MUFFLER HEAT SHIELD 101.45
