Default Exhaust counterweight?

Hey all,

Just went from the OEM exhaust to a V&H 2to1 pro pipe on my 2016 Ultra Limited. Noticed that with my hands off the bars it pulls slightly to the right now. Makes sense since the weight is no longer balanced but only on the right. Anyone know of a counterweight or something you could attach to the old left side muffler mount to rebalance the bike? Not a huge issue and didn't even notice until I took my hands off the bars for a second.

Thanks!

Have a look at the primary drive on the left side of your bike. A Harley is ANYTHING but symmetrical weight wise.

They all drift one way or another. Sometimes for no reason and sometimes for a good reason like the rear wheel isn't straight. My guess is yours is situation normal.

Weigh old exhaust, weigh new exhaust. Fill left saddlebag with ice and beer to offset weight difference. Go for ride, drink beers one at a time until bike is balanced.

I'm gonna go with the first option on this. Although, if you drink too many beers, the bike may pull both directions. LOL!

Are you really really sure it didn't pull the same way before? Having made a change it is common to see if there is any effect afterwards, so you may simply be noticing something you have been unaware of to date. Just keep your hands on the bars.....

If you're really concerned then check wheel alignment, but like Nomadmax I suspect there is nothing wrong.

Are you really really sure it didn't pull the same way before? ... Yep, I was thinking the same thing Mr. Brown.
