Default Cam clearance

I have a 2007 Fatboy (B motor).
I have installed Woods 9b-6 cams for a dryrun with out cutting or grinding cam chest.
The cams spin in the cam chest with the plate on without hitting anything.
How do I know if there is actually enough clearance for the cams with heat expansion and the loose tolerances?

The new desigh has a lot of room.
Generally for moving parts a good rule of thumb is 0.060" clearance. That is a "eyeball" of a wide spark plug gap.
