Am I really going to gain all that much going to 1.7?

PS...my brother is sending me some stock rockers with 9000 miles on them on Friday. I'm going to inspect them and compare them to my 30,000 mile rockers.

I'm still considering the rollers though.
the only time that 1.7`s are really needed,is when you want more lift than there is avaliable, better for street cams to stick with the 1.625,if you want more lift, get a bigger cam.your staying with the 1.625,good choice,i seen alot of guys who HAD to go with 1.7`s,got into a can of worms they wish the had`nt

Very true, but, I believe that those units from the Moco do have good merit, in the hands of those that can set them up correctly, and can add to lower lift grinds as a means of producing more, without the purchase of new cams. Just sayin'.

i agree 100%,unfortunatly,not everyone knows the ins & outs of setting them up,for the everyday rider, either have someone that knows do it,or dont mess with it,no offence to anyone, but the average "hot rodder"has no real clue how a cam really works, besides opening & closing the valves.
