Removing old gas
Not sure if this is the best place to post this but I think I have stale gas in my tank. It has been sitting for almost 4 months over the winter and the bike doesn't start now. It is an 06 Streetglide. A few questions. What is the best way to purge the system of this gas? Can I just drain the tank and add new fuel? I have a manual but it really doesn't explain the best way to drain the tank or fuel system. If I just need to drain the tank do I need to depressurize the system?

Gas will not turn bad in only 4 months perhaps you have have another problem however,if you want to remove the fuel from the tank I would suggest disconecting the battery first and the easy way would be to siphon it out.Just take a hose ,put it in the tank then using a air compressor and a blow gun put the blow gun nozzle in the tank with a rag wrapped around it to help seal it and give it a shot of air this should start the fuel comming out of the hose.If it quits just repeat until the tank is empty.
