Want to make Inner Cam Bearing Removal Tool
I have a 2001 FLSTC TC88B
And I need prints or dimensions or even actual tool…for an “Inner Cam Bearing Removal and Installation Tool”…. I’d be willing to make an extra one (I am a Tool & Die maker with full shop access) for the person that helps me out…..I really don’t want to buy one as it looks to easy to make…..I checked “Georges Garage” and he only has install tool not removal tool…….

Just buy one, take the dimensions, then return it or sell it on ebay. That's what I usually do when I'm making tools (or parts). There may be a restocking fee, so make sure the place you get it from doesn't charge too much. I'm one of those people who believes that if I can see a picture of a part, I can make it. I do it all the time. Saves me a lot of money and the parts are modified to meet my needs (and to make them "one of a kind"). I hate having parts on my bike that anyone can order online or at the stealership. "Catalog Bolt-on bikes" are not true customs, IMHO.

FWIW, if you're talking about the needle bearings in the right side crankcase, I just used a 2-pound slide hammer/puller to remove them.
Installing the new ones was a very light press with a drift pin and a small rubber mallet to TAP them in.
Perfectly done, out and in, in about 10 minutes.
YMMW.

Now if you could only take that motor out and take measurements on a CMM!
Maybe use some transfer punches or use gauge pins to get some measurements?
There is a picture of that tool here somewhere.
The idea of buying the tool sounds good, just check out the return policy.

Yes, it always works for me. I bought a Screamin Beagle "Race Brace", aka the Carlini Torque Arm, and after making a drawing and dimensioning it, I was able to make my own, but in two pieces. That way, if I have to pull the cam cover, I won't have to remove the exhaust and half the bolts from the tranny side cover. Mine is also about 1/2 lb. lighter than the factory designed ones. I bought the original on ebay for $185.00, then sold it on ebay for $225. Basically, the one I made didn't cost me anything except a few hours of work.
