Default Evo engine - oil out one exhaust

OK. I have yet to even start my "new" 1988 883. With only 14,900 miles it has been sitting for some 7 years or so. So before even considering turning it over, I poured some Marvel Mystery Oil down each spark plug hole and let it set for a few days while I worked on other things with the bike.
Well today, I decided to put it in gear, take out the plugs and roll the rear wheel to see if it would turn over. It did. On the rear cylinder, it kicked out the Mystery Oil. None came out of the spark plug on the front one, but later I saw it leaking from the exhaust pipe.
Any thoughts on this?

Would that have been the expected result of my efforts?
At least I know the pistons are not frozen and that at least the rings are holding on one side because I doubt that just pouring the oil down the spark plug hole would have reached all around the piston.
