screaming eagle rocker plate wear
 

Has anybody had any problems with screaming eagle forge rocker plate wearing and getting to much side to side clearance.Then it starts a valve train noise..i'm running 106 s&s kit 585 s&s cams roller lifters and push rods all s&s.Has happened 2times in less than 5000 miles each time.Any help appreciated.

Just asking cause I have the SE Forged rocker plate. So I have a interest.
And S&S roller tips.

Are you actually getting measured wear or you getting more and more noise?
If more noise, get Woods Lifters. They work.

By the way mine no wear since I last looked a few K's ago. Maybe, last winter.

Except for movement of the whole plate or restricted oil flo or bad wore out shafts wonder why there would be wear?

Just when I though I had it all figured out. Oh well.

First time had woods billett offset rocker plates.In 5000 miles had 20 thousands side to side play making noise .Took those out installed screaming eagle forged rocker plates now in about 5000 miles same noise comming back.
