I'm installing V&H Big Shots on my Fat Bob and I've been told by 2 HD mechanics that it would be nice if I also upgraded my air filter and that I wouldn't be needing a Super Tuner or similar (the ECM will self adjust) if I go for a stock replacement filter like K&N part # HD-9608 for example, I would only need a Super Tuner or similar if I instal a high intake air filter like HD's Heavy Breather. To make sure I'm doing the right thing I've been trying to find posts on this subject but I can't seem to find any straight answers, can someone shed me some light on this matter as I don't want to spend the extra cash on a Super Tuner right now. Thanks for the help!
