Absolutely fatcat. With their choice on baffles, you can get the sound and performance you want. The RR is decent design and makes good power, i just dont like their rear pipe that comes within a 1/2 of the rear cyl, keeping all the heat there. The TH, for me is not a contender because of Quality control issue i have had with several. they make decent power if tuned accordingly for the build.

Having done a recent *** dyno comparison of a fatcat and a propipe on my 117, i now am part of the fatcat following.

I see you didn't get to many replies to your question.
First of all if you are looking for a deep Harley rumble
then you will be so dissapointed with any of the fatcat 2-1 pipes.
Had one with a standard baffle on an 07 fatboy, the exhaust note sucks.
No deep Harley rumble at all.I gave the fatcat pipe away and went back to a thunderheader.
I put 20,000 miles on the thunderheader 2-1 exhaust and it is still flawless.A very good2-1 performancepipewith an unmistaken deep Harley rumble. If you ever hear a t-header pipe, you
will buy one.Bassani Road Rage would have been a good 2nd choice.Great sound
and performance. My 02. cents. Good luck!!!

I agree with Baggerdsm and Pitdog with getting a FatCat. I had a thunderheader which I tought sounded great but quality wise it was a piece of poo. The chrome will not hold up period. The Fatcat has excellent chrome and the the fit is precision.

i personally am going with a fatcat 2-1, its at the shop as we speak. i had a thunderheader and do love the sound, but the performance is going to be much better with the fatcat, i am going with the regular baffle because i do like a louder pipe. if you go into the sound clips at the top of this page go to page 3 or 4 and theres a black bike with a black fatcat....listen to that bike, its what sold me

Ive got Bassani Road Rage(in sig pic)on my 07 night train, buddy of mine went with a thunderheader on his 07 train. When both were stock 96"his was louder but mine was deepersounding. He went up to a 113" build, his is definately louder still but mine still has more of a deeper sound IMO. I also asked around alot here on the forum before I made my decision. Had more than one person on here advise that for the newer FI bikes the Bassani was putting out better performance than the thunderheader. I dont know that for a fact as Ive never seen a dyno sheet between the two. I ended upchoosing the bassani based solely on looks though.
