Default Older Style TC Cam Cover

I bought a black powder coated cam cover to replace the chrome one on my 02 Heratige, it cam with a hole for the sensor that was used I guess on older models. Has anyone came up with a solution to plug that hole so oil doesn't leak through the drain on the older style cam covers? Here is a link to a chrome cam cover showing the hole I need to plug.

thanks

A dowel and some loctite or just fill the hole with black RTV sealant and let it cure over night.
